I guess the pony wasn't meant to be. Monday morning the same field pictured was a macabre scene of carnage. Some species of large predatory cat (mountain lion, cougar, something) got the colt. I don't think I have ever been so done with winter. And it hasn't been a particularly dismal winter around here, either. Not weather wise. I've seen worse. Even still, this winter has seemed so long. I'm curious about something. I am by no means new to the internet (I was using it back before Tim Berners Lee pulled his stunt), but I am relatively new around here. I'm not real sure how people feel about the subject or what the generally understood protocol is regarding favorites and comments. Comments, I understand.
